Old Main State Hospital In Utica Is Offering 2016 Tours

After the unbelievalble turnout in 2014 for the tours of Utica's Old Main State Mental Hospital, the Landmark's Society of Greater Utica on hosted a low-profile tour of the historic landmark in 2015. Today, the historic building is opening for public tours yet again.

This time, the Landmark's Society of Greater Utica and the New York State Office of Mental Health (currently resides over the property) have partnered with Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi to offer exclusive tours on June 10th 2016 and June 17th 2016. The tours are only 20 minutes running 9AM - 11:40AM and 3PM - 5:40PM and are restricted to group sizes of only 20 people. Reservations are required this time and only 720 people will be able to tour the building this time.

To make a reservation contact the Office Of Mental Health at

OldMainTours@omh.ny.gov

Take a tour, learn the history of the iconic New York historic site and help perserve the building with a donation. Or just watch our tour of the site in 2014.
